The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for performing a variety of accounting and administrative tasks for multiple entities, with an emphasis on accounts payable. The successful candidate will have some experience with accounting systems and data entry. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented and have a desire to collaborate and assist other members within the organization.

Key Accountabilities: 

Accurate and timely coding of vendor invoices to the correct general ledger accounts in the accounting systemCollaborate with Accounting Technicians to ensure discrepancies are resolvedSupport the accounting department with routine tasksOther special projects and administrative tasks as assigned

Qualifications & Experience:

Post-Secondary in Accounting or Finance is considered an assetMinimum one (1) year of progressive accounting and financial experience, or equivalent

Skills:

Works well in a fast-paced environmentSelf-motivated and has the ability to work independentlyExcellent interpersonal skills with a collaborative team-oriented attitudeExperience with Microsoft NAV would be an asset
