Description We are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in the KC Metro. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring efficient payment processing. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic accounting environment. Responsibilities: • Track vendor payment details, including remit addresses and due dates, to ensure timely processing. • Conduct weekly accounts payable check runs and generate detailed reports for review. • Prepare and distribute regular reports such as vendor statements and accounts payable summaries. • Accurately process and record bank transactions in a timely manner. • Manage year-end form preparation and submission to comply with regulatory requirements. • Sort and organize incoming mail to streamline daily operations. • Digitally scan checks and payroll documents for secure recordkeeping. • Verify invoice coding to ensure compliance and proper financial reporting. Requirements • At least 1–2 years of experience handling full-cycle accounts payable tasks, preferably with Microsoft Dynamics. • A high school diploma or equivalent educational qualification. • Proven ability to process payroll for multiple entities using third-party software. • Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes, including check runs and invoice coding. • Attention to detail and organizational skills to manage financial documentation. • Proficiency in handling invoice processing and ensuring accuracy. • Effective communication skills to collaborate with vendors and internal teams.
