Job Title: Accounts Payable Clerk Job Description International textiles company is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to manage a high volume of invoices from truckers, freight carriers, and customers. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate processing and allocation of costs, maintain organized records, and support month-end close processes. Responsibilities + Receive and process over 100 invoices weekly from truckers, freight carriers, and customers. + Verify charges against expected costs and investigate discrepancies or potential overcharges. + Enter invoices as landing costs into accounting systems, ensuring accurate allocation of ocean freight, trucking, and manual costs. + Communicate with vendors via email to clarify excessive or unclear charges. + Collaborate with internal teams to reconcile costs and support accurate financial reporting. + Maintain organized records and support month-end close processes. Essential Skills + Bachelors or Associates degree in Accounting required. + 2–3 years of experience in Accounts Payable, performing high volume invoice processing and 2-way matching. + Proficient in handling high-volume, manual invoice environments. + Strong attention to detail and ability to spot cost discrepancies. + Proficiency in email communication and basic accounting systems. + Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Familiarity with logistics, freight, or trucking industry preferred. + Fast learner with excellent organizational skills. + Willingness to learn with solid training and support. Work Environment This is a fully on-site position with working hours from 9 AM to 5 PM, including a one-hour lunch break. The workplace is located in a nice area, providing a comfortable environment for focused work. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $26.00/hr.
