Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to oversee the accurate and efficient handling of vendor invoices and payments. This position plays a vital role in maintaining financial accuracy and fostering strong vendor relationships. Responsibilities: • Process and verify vendor invoices for payment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. • Match invoices with purchase orders and receipts to confirm validity and completeness. • Manage vendor accounts, addressing inquiries and resolving discrepancies promptly. • Conduct regular check runs to ensure timely payments to vendors. • Code invoices appropriately and ensure proper documentation for financial records. • Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions and reconcile balances as needed. • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless processing and authorization of payments. • Assist in month-end closing procedures related to accounts payable. • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency in the accounts payable process. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable or a related role. • Strong proficiency in processing invoices and managing vendor accounts. • Familiarity with coding invoices and conducting check runs. • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. • Effective communication skills for interacting with vendors and internal teams. • Proficiency in accounting software and basic Microsoft Office applications. • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in accounting is a plus.
