As an Accounts Payable Associate I, you'll manage the full accounts payable cycle from receipt of invoices to payment. Our ideal candidate is passionate about finance, has experience in accounting, and possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the full accounts payable cycle from receipt of invoices to payment, including coding invoices, obtaining approval, and entering the invoices into the accounting system.

Prepare daily deposits and batch check runs.

Ensure all accounts payable policies and procedures are adhered to, including vendor approval and invoice processing.

Perform reconciliation of vendor statements to ensure accurate payment.

Maintain vendor files for documentation and audit purposes.

Correspond with vendors regarding payment questions, terms, account set-up, etc.

Serve as subject matter expert in Workday for all accounts payable processes.

Assist team with gathering support for all audits, including pulling documentation.

Assist in ad hoc projects as needed.

Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
 

Education and/or Experience Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED is required.

3+ years of experience in accounting is preferred.

Additional Qualifications:

Thorough knowledge of finance, accounting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

Basic understanding of financial and accounting software applications.

Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.

Capable of scrutinizing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems.

Ability to work with information in a confidential manner.

Ability to multitask and support senior accounting staff.
