Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Accounts Payable Associate to manage our accounts payable system, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices. This role requires strong communication skills, flexibility, and a high level of integrity and confidentiality. You will be responsible for pulling data from invoices and routing them to the appropriate departments in a dynamic and ever-changing environment.
ResponsibilitiesDistribute department mail and scan/route invoices for coding and approval.Maintain scanner equipment.Process invoices accurately and in a timely manner.Research and resolve past due balances or disputes.Assist with dataloads and weekly sales tax field reporting.Contribute to month-end close and supplier statement reviews.Review unaccounted reports and resolve outstanding activities.Address missing invoice attachments as applicable.Assist in systems testing as needed.Provide daily queue metrics to the Accounts Payable Supervisor.Escalate issues requiring second-level support to the Accounts Payable Supervisor or Manager.Participate in department projects and company initiatives.Essential SkillsExperience with 3-way matching and accounts payable.Proficiency in invoice processing and accounting.Experience in construction and Oracle systems.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's or Associate's Degree with 2+ years of accounts payable experience.High-volume accounts payable experience with purchase orders.Desire to grow within the accounts payable department.Ability to perform in a dynamic environment with well-developed communication skills.Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.Positive attitude and excellent customer service skills.Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.Knowledge of Kofax, Oracle, ServiceNow, and Microsoft Suite is a plus.Ability to work effectively with diverse backgrounds.Work Environment
The Accounts Payable group consists of approximately 22-25 people. You will report to the Accounts Payable Supervisor, who reports to the Director of Core Finance Operations. The office setup is modern and spacious, accommodating nearly 10,000 employees. This is a shared service location where the majority of Accounting and Finance operations take place. The role follows a hybrid model, with three days in the office and two days working from home, offering flexibility in choosing which days to be in the office. The team handles approximately 150+ invoices per day per person, with tasks including invoice entry, PO matching, and electronic workflow processing. This role serves as a feeder group for other roles in Accounting/Finance and leadership opportunities within the accounts payable department.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, MN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $29.00/hr.
