Job Description

A growing mechanical/construction company is seeking an Accounts Payable Admin to handle full-cycle accounts payable in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

Process approximately 1,000 invoices per month from email capture to posting in Spectrum.Support bi-monthly check runs and month-end accounts payable steps.Field accounts payable calls and assist with subcontract administrative tasks.Maintain organized accounts payable documentation.Review invoices captured from a centralized email system, verify details, transfer into Spectrum, and post.Manage a high volume of invoices and handle all vendor and payable-related phone calls.Assist with subcontract documentation and related administrative tasks.Collaborate closely with internal team members involved in banking and credit card processes.

Essential Skills

2+ years accounts payable experience in construction, HVAC, mechanical, or similar industries.Experience with Spectrum or similar software preferred.Strong organizational and communication skills.Fully on-site; reliable schedule is essential.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Strong computer skills and comfort with the Microsoft Office Suite.Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage priorities in a high-volume environment.No degree required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Knoxville, TN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
