Accounts Payable Analyst
Job Title: Accounts Payable AnalystJob Description

The Accounts Payable Analyst is responsible for protecting enterprise assets through detailed analysis and developing action plans for complex, high-risk transactions using various tools and documentation. The role involves minimal supervisory review and requires interpreting and applying corporate financial policies, government legislation, and accounting theory as applicable. The analyst monitors internal accounting controls to ensure asset safeguarding and compliance with company policies.

ResponsibilitiesProcess payments and conduct research on invoices and master data.Support critical financial cycles including period end, year-end, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, physical inventory, and audits.Design, develop, and test enterprise change management impacting business processes within a non-integrated, multi-system environment.Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal business partners through problem-solving and analysis.Compile, analyze, and review complex enterprise financial transactions and prepare required summaries, such as balance sheet account reconciliations and expenses impacting the corporate profit & loss statement.Essential Skills1+ year of accounts payable experience.Proficiency in Excel, including creating pivot tables and improving reports.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with accounts payable, payments, and invoice processing.Familiarity with accounting and purchase order processes.Work Environment

The work environment is located in a large, modern building with a sizable Accounts Payable team. The team is organized with segmented focuses and three AP Managers/Supervisors each overseeing specific functions. The company is currently consolidating its ERP systems and automating more invoices using Coupa. Employees are required to work three days in the office, with the flexibility to choose which days. Remote work is allowed for circumstances like illness or appointments. Standard working hours are from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Training will be conducted both remotely and onsite.

This is a Contract position based out of Bayport, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $29.00/hr.
