Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. This role is essential in ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and reconciliations, while maintaining compliance with company policies. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities: • Process invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper coding and compliance with company standards. • Perform regular account reconciliations to verify transactions and resolve discrepancies. • Prepare and execute check runs in accordance with payment schedules. • Manage data entry tasks related to accounts payable, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. • Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to address and resolve invoice-related issues. • Monitor and maintain records of accounts payable transactions for auditing purposes. • Utilize accounting software such as Oracle, QuickBooks, or SAP to manage financial data. • Assist in generating financial reports related to accounts payable activities. • Ensure adherence to internal controls and compliance requirements in all accounts payable processes. • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency within the department. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar finance role within a manufacturing environment. • Proficiency in accounting software, including Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP. • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting. • Familiarity with processing invoices, coding, and reconciling accounts. • Ability to execute check runs and manage payment schedules effectively. • Excellent organizational and time management skills. • Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies. • Effective communication skills for interacting with vendors and internal teams.
