Accounts Officer (Mandarin Speaker)
Job Responsibilities: Keep financial records current and accurate, covering payables, receivables, and general ledger entries. Verify the accuracy of financial data by reconciling accounts and reviewing transactions. Match bank statements with company records to spot and resolve any inconsistencies. Support the creation of financial statements, management reports, and budget documents. Prepare financial analyses and reports as needed for management or regulatory bodies. Assist with audits by organizing supporting documents and addressing auditor questions. Track company spending to ensure it aligns with budget guidelines and internal policies. Review and process staff expense claims, checking receipts and supporting paperwork. Help prepare and file tax documents, including GST returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws. Perform financial and variance analyses to highlight trends and areas for improvement. Offer recommendations to management based on financial insights. Contribute to special financial projects or initiatives as assigned. Respond promptly and accurately to requests for financial data or analysis. Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline; CPA or CA certification is a plus. At least 5–8 years of experience in accounting or finance, with a strong grasp of financial practices. Skilled in Microsoft Excel and accounting software; familiar with financial reporting standards. High attention to detail and accuracy in financial work. Excellent organizational and time management abilities, able to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of explaining financial matters to non-financial colleagues. Team player who contributes to departmental objectives. Maintains confidentiality and integrity when handling sensitive financial information and adheres to ethical and regulatory standards.
