**Introduction** We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in managing service tickets, documenting business processes, and driving follow-ups to ensure timely resolution and continuous improvement. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a collaborative mindset. **Your role and responsibilities** As an Accounting Technologist part of the Data Intelligence team, you will play a key role in managing and transforming accounting and financial data to enable accurate reporting and insights. Your responsibilities include ingesting and wrangling large datasets, ensuring data quality and integrity, and developing robust data models and packages. You will also create impactful visualizations and dashboards to support decision-making across accounting processes. Collaboration with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver scalable, data-driven solutions is central to this role. **Required technical and professional expertise** Proven ability to manipulate and analyze large, complex datasets with attention to accuracy and detail. Strong analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends, and extract actionable insights. Proficiency in data visualization and dashboard development using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Cognos Analytics. Solid understanding of data modeling concepts and experience building scalable data solutions. Advanced skills in SQL and familiarity with scripting languages like Python or R for data wrangling and automation. Knowledge of accounting or financial data structures and reporting requirements is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
