Scope of Responsibility:

This position is responsible for supporting the day-to-day functions in the Accounting Department. They will support accounts payable by processing invoices. 

 

Essential Duties:

Processes accounts payable invoices by matching PO, invoice and receipt to verify correct quantity and cost.Maintains accounting records.Communicates with inventory and purchasing to correct discrepancies.Runs reports to verify entry.Maintains procedures and workflow.Performs other duties as assigned.

 

Position Requirements:

Education:  High school diploma or equivalent; 2-year degree in Accounting is preferred

Experience:  2+ years of accounting experience preferred  

Skills & Abilities:

Proficient in Computer Applications such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and OutlookExcellent English verbal and written communication skillsStrong attention to detail and effective organizational skills.Regular and on-time attendance.Work in your shift as scheduled.Must work well with others.

 

 Physical Requirements:

Position is in an office environment and will require working on a computer most of the dayRegularly required to use hands to finger, handle or grasp, reach with hands and armsFrequently required to talk and hearFrequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
