Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join our team in Northborough, Massachusetts. This position focuses primarily on Accounts Payable (AP) transactions, with some responsibilities in Accounts Receivable (AR). The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and possess the ability to process high volumes of transactions accurately and efficiently. Responsibilities: • Oversee full-cycle Accounts Payable processes, handling up to 400-500 invoices weekly. • Coordinate timely payment runs, including ACH and wire transfers. • Match and enter vendor invoices into the Avante system with precision. • Process bi-weekly vendor payments and ensure accuracy in all transactions. • Collaborate with the purchasing department to resolve payment discrepancies and maintain smooth operations. • Communicate with vendors to address billing issues and ensure timely resolutions. • Assist with additional Accounts Payable tasks as required. • Apply payments to Accounts Receivable accounts and ensure accurate recordkeeping. • Perform account reconciliations and monitor daily cash flow activities. • Support compliance efforts by adhering to company policies and maintaining confidentiality of financial information. **For immediate consideration, please call me directly!
