As an Accounting Specialist here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and maintaining compliance with accounting policies and regulations. You will be responsible for various accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, and financial analysis. Your attention to detail and strong analytical skills will be essential in maintaining the integrity of financial data and providing valuable insights to support decision-making. In this role, you will impact the financial health of the Mexican company by ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, maintaining compliance with accounting policies and regulations, and providing valuable insights to support decision-making Key Responsibilities + Prepare and execute journal entries to support the accounting team with month-end and quarter-end close processes. + Ensure account reconciliations are delivered on-time & with quality with no unexplained items. + Ensure queries / transactions are resolved timely and GL is not aged. + Ensure all banking processes are correct and do tie out with bank statement. + Ensure to report correctly in month end between SAP and HFM + Support and provide guidance to Business in process accounting to improve decision making. + Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements + Ensure to complete and report schedule for quarterly and annually in HFM + Attend Internal and external audits + Partner closely with other Controllership team members, including corporate accounting, external reporting, and consolidations, to successfully execute responsibilities.
