Accounting Specialist
Job Title: Accounting Specialist Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to manage day-to-day financial operations, including transaction processing, account reconciliation, payroll coordination, and financial reporting. This role ensures accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all accounting functions. Key Responsibilities: + Maintain accurate financial records and documentation. + Process accounts payable, receivable, journal entries, and bank reconciliations. + Enter and manage financial data in accounting software; generate standard financial reports. + Reconcile accounts to ensure consistency with bank and internal records. + Prepare and issue invoices, billings, and related financial documents. + Manage client and vendor account records. + Support payroll processing, including time entry and deductions. + Perform general bookkeeping and assist with tax preparation data. Qualifications: + Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field, or 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably in the AEC industry. + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint preferred). + Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting. + Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills. + High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism. Skills: Microsoft Excel, cash flow management, invoicing, billing systems, payroll, accounts receivable/payable. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $26.44 - $30.29/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
