**Temporary Accounting Specialist**
**Location:** Broken Arrow
**Schedule:** Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
**Status:** Full-Time, Temporary
**Pay:** Competitive, based on experience
We’re seeking a skilled **Accounting Specialist** to join our client's finance team on a temporary basis. In this role, you’ll support day-to-day accounting functions, ensure timely and accurate reporting, and assist the Controller as needed. This is a great opportunity for someone with solid accounting experience looking to contribute in a fast-paced, detail-focused environment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Perform daily accounting entries and resolve vendor/customer issues
+ Reconcile bank accounts and process general ledger transactions
+ Maintain documentation for subcontractors (W-9s, COIs, exemptions)
+ Administer company credit card program and track expenses
+ Assist with job costing, asset tracking, and financial reporting
+ Support accounts payable and payment processing
+ Provide backup support to the Controller as needed
+ Ensure accuracy, compliance, and confidentiality across tasks
**Qualifications:**
+ Minimum 3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
+ Strong understanding of accounting principles and general ledger functions
+ Proficient in QuickBooks, Excel, and Microsoft Office
+ Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
+ Strong organizational and communication abilities
+ Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities
