Accounting Senior Analyst

Job Description

Location: Vicente López, Buenos Aires

Work Model: Hybrid (on-site 3 times per week: Tuesday to Thursday)

What You'll Do (Responsibilities)

Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Perform detailed variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior periods.

Lead month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.

Support budgeting and forecasting activities in collaboration with the FP&A team.

Develop and maintain financial models and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs).

Assist with internal and external audits by preparing schedules and responding to inquiries.

Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and regulatory requirements.

Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and strengthen internal controls.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Operations, Legal, IT, HR) on business initiatives and projects.

Mentor junior analysts and support staff, providing training and development guidance.

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.

Advanced level of English.

Solid accounting knowledge and experience.

Proficiency in SAP.

Advanced Excel skills.

What Can Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications)

Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

Knowledge of automation tools (Knime, Python).

Experience with Power Platform.

MBA or postgraduate studies in Systems Analysis, Information Technology, or Data Analytics.
