Description We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join our team in Anaheim, California. In this role, you will oversee critical accounting functions and provide accurate financial insights to support organizational decision-making. This position requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. As a key resource for financial reporting, you will play an integral part in ensuring compliance and driving process improvements.
Responsibilities:
• Manage daily accounting operations, including general ledger updates and maintenance.
• Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting financial documentation.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes, meeting deadlines and coordinating with external auditors.
• Collaborate with accounts payable and receivable teams to ensure timely invoicing, collections, and vendor payments.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities, tracking performance against financial goals and identifying risk factors.
• Ensure adherence to tax regulations, financial policies, and internal controls, preparing necessary documentation for audits.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement enhanced accounting workflows.
• Provide financial guidance and insights to management and cross-functional teams to support business initiatives.
• Maintain and optimize accounting systems and software for improved efficiency. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience with a strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency in general ledger management, month-end close processes, and account reconciliation.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and audit practices.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software.
• Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or inventory-based industries is preferred.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
