Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager/Supervisor to oversee financial operations and ensure accurate reporting. The ideal candidate will be skilled in managing month-end processes, maintaining general ledger accounts, and conducting audits. This role is crucial for maintaining the integrity of financial statements and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Responsibilities: • Supervise and manage month-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. · Experience processing payroll for an organization • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to uphold accuracy and consistency. • Conduct and oversee financial statement audits, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. • Prepare and review journal entries to support accurate accounting records. • Monitor account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies efficiently. • Collaborate with internal teams to improve accounting processes and practices. • Provide guidance and mentorship to accounting staff, fostering growth and attention to detail. • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards. • Analyze financial data and reports to support strategic decision-making. • Implement controls to ensure the integrity and security of financial information. Requirements • Proven experience in accounting management or supervisory roles. • Strong proficiency in month-end close processes and general ledger maintenance. • Expertise in preparing and analyzing financial statements and conducting audits. • Solid understanding of account reconciliation and journal entry preparation. • Familiarity with accounting principles and standards, including GAAP. • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. • Strong leadership abilities, including team management and mentorship. • Proficiency in accounting software and tools.
