Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee and optimize financial operations within our organization. This role requires a detail-oriented individual adept at managing accounting processes and ensuring compliance with applicable standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management and leadership. Responsibilities: • Lead and manage the month-end closing process to ensure timely and accurate reporting. • Oversee the maintenance and accuracy of the general ledger, ensuring proper documentation and reconciliations. • Conduct and coordinate financial statement audits, addressing any issues and ensuring compliance. • Review and approve account reconciliations to maintain financial integrity. • Prepare, analyze, and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy and completeness. • Monitor and improve accounting procedures and workflows to enhance efficiency. • Provide leadership and guidance to the accounting team, fostering growth and development. • Collaborate with other departments to align financial operations with organizational goals. • Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting regulations and standards. • Generate and present financial reports to management for strategic decision-making. Requirements • Proven experience in accounting management or supervisory roles. • Strong knowledge of month-end close processes and general ledger management. • Expertise in conducting financial statement audits and resolving discrepancies. • Proficiency in account reconciliation and journal entry preparation. • Solid understanding of accounting principles and compliance requirements. • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. • Effective leadership abilities with a focus on team development. • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is a plus.
