About the Role Colleen McAuliffe at Robert half is seeking an experienced, hands-on Accounting Manager reporting to the Corporate Controller to join our expanding team. As Accounting Manager, you will play a key role in day-to-day accounting operations and drive impactful process improvements that strengthen efficiency and scalability. Key Duties and Responsibilities Lead day-to-day, month-end, and quarter-end close activities: journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, variance analysis, and reporting. Ensure all accounting practices comply with U.S. GAAP and internal policies. Manage intercompany accounting, eliminations, and reconciliations across entities. Develop, update, and implement departmental policies and procedures. Drive process improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency and scalability. Participate in operations to understand the full cycle of accounting impacts. Establish cost controls and scalable cost accounting processes to support production growth, ensuring accurate product costing and margin analysis. Collaborate cross-functionally, providing financial insights and operational support. Prepare audit schedules and provide supporting documentation. Partner with FP& A on budget, forecasting, and expense analysis. Support treasury and cash management activities. Contribute to ad-hoc projects as needed. Requirements Qualifications, Education, and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA and/or Big 4 background preferred. 6+ years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing or production-driven business. Strong understanding of core finance processes (close, order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, etc.). Experience with inventory and cost accounting. Strong working knowledge of US GAAP. Familiarity with SAP S4 Hanna Exposure to multi-entity consolidations and international operations. Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines. Strong collaboration, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
