Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager/Supervisor to join our team in Collierville, Tennessee. This role is ideal for someone who excels in managing financial operations, ensuring compliance, and driving efficiency in accounting processes. The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing budgets, month-end close procedures, and rebate management.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and oversee month-end closing activities, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled.
• Supervise accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions to maintain efficient cash flow operations.
• Prepare and monitor budgets, providing detailed financial reports and recommendations to leadership.
• Handle rebate processes, including tracking, reconciliation, and reporting to optimize accuracy and efficiency.
• Utilize QuickBooks to manage general ledger, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with financial statement audits and regulatory requirements.
• Analyze financial statements and reports to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
• Coordinate with payroll service providers to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing.
• Implement strong organizational practices to streamline accounting procedures and enhance productivity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support overall financial strategy and operations. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or financial management roles.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and advanced knowledge of general ledger management.
• Demonstrated expertise in month-end close processes and account reconciliation.
• Strong understanding of rebate management and financial statement preparation.
• Experience with budgeting and providing financial analysis to support decision-making.
• Familiarity with financial statement audits and compliance standards.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities effectively.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities to guide and support the accounting team.
