Accounting Manager/Supervisor
Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager/Supervisor to join a dynamic construction materials company in Las Vegas, Nevada. In this role, you will play a key part in analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and supporting decision-making processes to drive operational success. This position offers an opportunity to collaborate across functions, ensuring accuracy and delivering valuable insights to senior management. Responsibilities: • Analyze regional financial performance and provide actionable recommendations for improvement. • Assist with financial planning activities, including monthly forecasts and long-term strategic plans. • Prepare and present detailed reports comparing actual results to forecasts and budgets, offering insights to the management team. • Conduct cost accounting and financial modeling to support decision-making. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data. • Perform reconciliations and maintain sub-ledger accuracy, including work-in-process schedules. • Evaluate complex financial scenarios to identify business drivers and potential value creation opportunities. • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting requirements, ensuring timely submissions. • Participate in special financial projects and analyses as directed by senior leadership. • Represent the finance department in cross-regional initiatives and projects. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). • At least 7 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably in manufacturing or construction materials. • Strong proficiency in accounting software systems and ERP platforms. • Expertise in accounts payable, accounts receivable, auditing, and billing functions. • Advanced skills in financial modeling and quantitative analysis. • Experience with cost accounting and financial planning processes. • Familiarity with tools such as SAP, ADP, BlackLine, and Concur. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across teams.
