Description We are working with a mission-driven, innovation-focused nonprofit to find an Accounting & Grants Manager with hands-on experience managing federal grants and working in QuickBooks Online. This is a full-time, hybrid position based in Columbia, SC, with a growing organization making a global impact through university-industry research partnerships. Key Responsibilities + Oversee day-to-day financial operations using QuickBooks Online + Manage budgeting, reporting, and compliance for federal grant programs + Prepare and analyze financial reports and dashboards + Coordinate audits, tax filings, and sub-awardee financial activities + Serve as a financial liaison between internal teams, funders, and external partners + Ensure compliance with federal grant guidelines and reporting systems Requirements + 5+ years of accounting/finance experience, preferably in a nonprofit or grant-driven environment + Direct experience managing federal grants and familiarity with government systems and compliance + Proficiency with QuickBooks Online is a must + Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to work independently + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (CPA a plus) Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
