Description Our client, a leading manufacturer in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania is seeking a dedicated and experienced Accounting Manager to oversee our financial operations and lead our accounting team. If not, for immediate consideration, please apply or call Warren Knight at 484-214-2624 Key Responsibilities: + Financial Reporting: Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP. + Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial plans to guide business decisions. + Cash Flow Management: Manage cash flow, including monitoring cash balances and preparing cash flow forecasts. + Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations and coordinate with external auditors. + Cost Control and Analysis: Analyze costs, pricing, and profitability to support operational efficiency and strategic decision-making. + Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, growth, and excellence. + Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within the finance department. + Advisory Role: Provide financial insights and guidance to senior management for strategic planning and decision support. Requirements Qualifications: + Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA a plus. + Proven experience in accounting management, preferably in a manufacturing environment. + Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and tax regulations. + Excellent leadership skills with a track record of managing and developing a high-performing team. + Advanced proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
