Description
Our client, a leading manufacturer in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania is seeking a dedicated and experienced Accounting Manager to oversee our financial operations and lead our accounting team. As an integral member of our management team, you will ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulations, and strategic financial planning to support our company's growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:
+ Financial Reporting: Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
+ Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial plans to guide business decisions.
+ Cash Flow Management: Manage cash flow, including monitoring cash balances and preparing cash flow forecasts.
+ Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations and coordinate with external auditors.
+ Cost Control and Analysis: Analyze costs, pricing, and profitability to support operational efficiency and strategic decision-making.
+ Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, growth, and excellence.
+ Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within the finance department.
+ Advisory Role: Provide financial insights and guidance to senior management for strategic planning and decision support.

Requirements
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA a plus.
+ Proven experience in accounting management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
+ Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
+ Excellent leadership skills with a track record of managing and developing a high-performing team.
+ Advanced proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
