Responsibilities: • Oversee month-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timely completion. • Prepare and present financial statements, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, to leadership teams. • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable operations to maintain organizational efficiency. • Analyze financial statements to identify trends and provide actionable insights. • Ensure compliance with GAAP standards and other regulatory requirements. • Lead budgeting and forecasting efforts to support strategic planning. • Collaborate with diverse teams to improve accounting practices and enhance communication. • Utilize construction accounting software, such as NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage, or similar, to streamline processes. • Provide mentorship and guidance to accounting staff to support their growth. • Develop and implement procedures to optimize financial operations and reporting. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or financial management. • Strong knowledge of construction accounting principles, practices, and software. • Proficiency in financial statement preparation and analysis. • Familiarity with GAAP accounting standards and compliance. • Experience with budgeting and forecasting processes. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with teams. • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
