Description We are looking for an accomplished Accounting Manager/Supervisor to lead and oversee the daily operations of our accounting department in Azusa, California. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with expertise in financial reporting, compliance, and cost accounting, who can also provide strategic leadership to a high-performing team. The role demands a hands-on approach and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare, analyze, and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Develop budgets and financial forecasts, offering actionable insights to guide strategic business decisions.
• Manage and oversee manufacturing cost accounting processes, including inventory valuation, standard costing, and variance analysis.
• Ensure adherence to tax regulations and applicable laws, maintaining compliance with organizational policies.
• Lead and mentor the accounting team, fostering growth and skill enhancement.
• Optimize and maintain accounting systems to improve financial efficiency and reporting accuracy.
• Coordinate and manage the annual audit process, serving as the primary liaison with external auditors.
• Monitor and analyze cash flow, preparing both short-term and long-term financial forecasts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations and production, to provide financial insights and support process improvements. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• A minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 4 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
• Strong expertise in cost accounting and a thorough understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and complex formulas.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively and communicate financial insights clearly.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Experience with auditing, financial analysis, and regulatory compliance.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment requiring adaptability and precision.
