Position Summary:

We’re looking for an Accounting Manager - Capital, Revenue & Special Projects, who will play a key role in delivering accurate and timely financial reporting. In this role, you’ll oversee revenue, capital expenditures, fixed assets, and leases, while ensuring compliance with GAAP/IFRS standards. You’ll also lead and develop a team of three direct reports, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment. Your leadership will be hands-on with month-end close activities, P&L and balance sheet reconciliations, and internal controls, as well as supporting external and internal audits. This is a great opportunity to make an impact by streamlining processes, strengthening controls, and ensuring financial accuracy across critical areas of the business.

What You’ll Do:

Lead, coach, and mentor a team of three accounting professionals, supporting their growth and ensuring strong team performance. Manage month-end close activities for revenue, capital expenditures, fixed assets, and leases—ensuring accuracy and timely completion (C+3 days). Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and other reporting prepared by your team. Maintain and manage the fixed asset register (additions, disposals, transfers, and depreciation). Manage Capex accounting, including tracking, capitalization, and reporting of capital projects. Implement and maintain accounting policies, practices, and procedures, ensuring compliance with internal controls (ICFR). Partner with internal and external auditors by preparing documentation, addressing control gaps, and supporting remediation activities. Provide analytical support and reporting as needed to inform decision-making across the business.

What You'll Bring:

3–5 years of progressive accounting experience. A university degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent education and experience). CPA designation is required. Experience with Oracle Cloud, SAP, or EPM applications is an asset. Solid knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP standards. Strong technical skills, with advanced proficiency in Excel and Word. Proven ability to document processes, prepare technical memos, and communicate complex concepts clearly. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to research, problem solve and escalate when needed. Excellent organizational and time management skills to balance multiple priorities. A collaborative approach, with the ability to build relationships and work effectively across teams.

Additional Requirements:

This is a hybrid position. You will primarily work remotely, with an expectation to be on-site 1–2 days per week to collaborate with colleagues and support business needs.
