Accounting Manager
Key Responsibilities

Cash & Liquidity Management

Monitor and ensure accurate daily liquidity reportingManage cash forecasting, bank reconciliations, and payment processing through banking portalsCoordinate payment approvals with the Controller

Close & Financial Reporting

Lead and support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processesPrepare, review, and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysesReview work prepared by other accounting team membersAssist in the preparation of timely, accurate financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP

Planning, Forecasting & Analysis

Support annual and quarterly budgeting and forecasting, with monthly updatesPartner with Financial Analysts on forecasting and variance analysisPerform ad-hoc financial analysis and support special projects

Controls, Compliance & Technical Accounting

Ensure compliance with internal controls over financial reportingAssist with documenting, testing, and remediating internal controlsResearch, document, and apply technical accounting guidanceSupport internal and external audits, including preparation of audit schedules

Operations & Process Improvement

Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processesIdentify, document, and implement process improvementsCollaborate with IT and cross-functional teams on system enhancementsPartner with FP&A, Operations, Programs, and IT to support business needAdditional Skills & QualificationsCPA, CMA, or Master’s degree in Accounting preferredAerospace & Defense industry experience strongly preferredFamiliarity with DCAA, FAR, and cost accounting / cost pool allocationsExperience in prototyping or rapid development environmentsProficiency with Power BI and Microsoft Office tools

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $140000.00 - $140000.00/yr.
