In this full-time Accounting Manager position, you will: + Manage accounting operations and financial reporting for two dynamic companies + Oversee job cost accounting and event/project financials + Design and implement the month-end close process + Administer biweekly payroll for salaried, commissioned, and hourly staff + Ensure the timely processing and payment of vendor invoices — maximizing available discounts + Monitor staffing and departmental expenses to ensure alignment with budgets, reconciling variances as needed + Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements + Manage insurance reporting requirements + Accurately calculate, track, and accrue special event offers + Oversee both accounts receivable and accounts payable functions What you bring: + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Management + 5+ years’ hands-on, day-to-day accounting experience through to financial statement preparation + Proficiency in QuickBooks (desktop preferred) + A solid grasp of debits, credits, and accounting fundamentals + Experience and energy suited to a for-profit, entrepreneurial small business + Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and time management + Progressive accounting management responsibilities in your career + A consistently positive, professional attitude — and a strong personal commitment to excellence + Superb written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills + The ability to effectively prioritize and adapt in a dynamic environment + Verifiable professional references and the ability to pass a background/drug check Why join our client?
