Accounting Manager
Description We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to oversee financial operations in Norman, Oklahoma. In this role, you will manage all aspects of bookkeeping, accounting, and payroll processes to ensure accuracy and compliance. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented candidate with expertise in QuickBooks and a strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial statements. Responsibilities: • Manage full charge bookkeeping tasks, including maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with regulations. • Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections. • Reconcile bank accounts and address discrepancies to maintain accurate account balances. • Administer full-cycle payroll processing, including tax filings and employee compensation. • Prepare and analyze financial statements to provide insights on the organization's financial health. • Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring proper allocation of expenses and revenues. • Post journal entries and ensure all accounting transactions are accurately recorded. • Utilize QuickBooks software to manage and streamline accounting operations. • Collaborate with leadership to provide financial reports and support decision-making processes. • Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and practices. Requirements • 5+ years of experience in full charge bookkeeping with a strong understanding of accounting principles. • Proficiency in QuickBooks for managing and tracking financial operations. Experience with ServiceTitan is also a plus. • Expertise in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. • Ability to perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies effectively. • Knowledge of full-cycle payroll processes, including tax compliance. • Familiarity with general ledger management and journal entry posting. • Experience preparing financial statements and providing detailed financial analysis. • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
