Your Role as Accounting Manager: As the Accounting Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing all accounting operations for this mid-to-large manufacturing organization. You’ll combine your expertise in managing month-end closings, financial reporting, and cost accounting to deliver accurate and meaningful financial insights. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing accounting teams and operating in a fast-paced industrial manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities: + Lead and manage accounting team members, ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks. + Oversee the month-end close process, ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards. + Prepare and review detailed financial reports for company leadership. + Manage and refine cost accounting processes to ensure accurate product cost analyses. + Monitor internal controls and recommend process improvements to enhance overall efficiency. + Collaborate with other departments to support financial objectives and streamline workflows. Requirements Requirements: + 5+ years of experience in an accounting leadership role within a mid-sized or large manufacturing organization. + Strong expertise in US GAAP, month-end close, financial reporting, and cost accounting practices. + Effective experience managing and mentoring accounting teams. + Understanding of manufacturing processes and related financial impacts. + CPA designation strongly preferred. + Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills. + Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills are a plus. Work Environment: + Mostly remote with occasional travel to company facilities as needed.
