Description We are looking for a dedicated Accounting Manager to lead financial operations and ensure the accuracy of reporting and compliance. This role requires a strategic thinker who can oversee budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls while managing and mentoring a team of accounting staff. Responsibilities: • Prepare, analyze, and review comprehensive financial statements and reports to maintain accuracy. • Oversee budgeting processes, financial forecasting, and strategic planning to align with organizational goals. • Ensure adherence to accounting standards, regulations, and compliance requirements. • Develop, implement, and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and improve efficiency. • Manage and mentor accounting staff, fostering growth and team collaboration. • Conduct financial audits and implement corrective measures as necessary. • Analyze financial data to provide actionable insights for business decision-making. • Collaborate with HR to address organizational needs as they arise. • Coordinate IT requirements, including managing external consultants to support technology solutions. Requirements • Comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and standards. • Proficiency in accounting software and financial analysis tools, including Epicor. • Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively communicate and manage teams. • Exceptional attention to detail and analytical problem-solving abilities. • Proven expertise in month-end close processes, general ledger management, and account reconciliations. • Experience with financial statement audits and journal entries. • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; advanced degrees or certifications are highly advantageous. • Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, including prior leadership roles.
