Responsibilities: • Manage, train, and evaluate accounting staff to ensure growth and effective team performance. • Prepare and review journal entries, ensuring business transactions are accurately documented. • Develop and consolidate budgets for core and subsidiary divisions, providing detailed financial insights. • Manage month-end closing processes, including account analysis and reconciliation across multiple divisions. • Draft and review financial statements, performing comprehensive analyses for management review. • Oversee accounting procedures and internal controls, identifying opportunities for improvement and ensuring compliance. • Support capital funding requests and ensure accurate operational data management. • Collaborate on financial system upgrades and implementations to enhance efficiency and accuracy. • Lead independent audit requests and contribute to special projects as needed. Requirements • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting is required; a Master’s Degree in Business and/or Accounting. • Minimum of 5-10 years of progressive accounting and reporting experience, with supervisory experience as a plus. • Strong analytical skills with the ability to challenge and interpret financial results effectively. • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems is essential. • Organized and process-driven individual capable of managing multiple priorities efficiently. • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. • Familiarity with corporate and property tax regulations. • Experience in financial forecasting, budgeting, and month-end close processes.
