Job Details Cencora Pharmalex is one of the leading service providers for the Pharmaceutical Industry globally and is specialized in all aspects of drugs and medical devices approval, of the market development and any action of effective product maintenance.We have an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Manager to join our international team within Pharmalex. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for the end to end finance activities within some of the Nordic subsidiaries and support the other regions within Europe.
You will be responsible for month-end close procedures include preparation of month end activities to a WD 3 close process. Preparation of accurate monthly management accounts, provide financial insights and lead a team of professionals. You will ensure compliance with regulations and policies, communicate financial results and collaborate to meet.

Responsibilities:
Responsibility for the General Ledger, Sales Ledger and Purchase LedgerOversight , review and co-ordination of group reporting on a monthly basisBalance sheet reconciliation and reviewPrepayments and accrualsIntercompany reconciliationsReviewing and approving journals Cost Centre reporting and allocationPayroll reviewCash management Management and development of the Finance teamWorking and supporting the wider team across Northern and Western EuropeCoordination with the Group GAC team SOX and other compliance reportingStatutory accounts preparation and annual audit managementOn-going enhancement, development and documentation of current processes and controlsOther ad-hoc projects, queriesChoose an item.The employee agrees to take over additional reasonable tasks that align with their abilities, if requiredEducational Requirements:
Degree or equivalent in Accounting or FinanceCPA (Certified Public Accountant) or equivalent certification preferredExperience:
Minimum of 5 years of cumulative experience in accounting roleProficiency in utilizing the D365 system is a plusFully qualified accountant with proficiency in country-specific GAAP as well as US GAAPSkills:
Advanced level knowledge of ExcelStrong analytical and numeracy skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to assimilate and summarise financial information in an appropriate contextStrategic and commercial acumen., as well as the ability and willingness to be hands-onExcellent people skills, with experience collaborating in a multi-disciplinary, diverse, dynamic teamExperience in working with Shared Service Centre as well as a matrixed organisationDemonstrated experience in financial management and accountingExperience should include legal, audit, compliance, budget, and resource developmentDemonstrated resourcefulness in setting priorities, proposing new ways of creating efficiencies, and guiding regional investment in people and systemsProven effectiveness leading professionals in finance and accountingExperience managing a team in different locations is desirableTechnologically savvy, with an ability to point to examples of having worked with IT staff to develop and implement new processes and systems that increased efficiency in a fast-moving environmentWhat Cencora offersBenefit offerings outside the US may vary by country and will be aligned to local market practice.
