Accounting Manager
Position Overview: Accounting Manager

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to lead the daily operations of our accounting department. This role is responsible for overseeing financial reporting, market and product analysis, tariff forecasting, and internal processes such as inventory management. Reporting directly to the COO, the Accounting Manager plays a key role in strategic planning, logistics, and departmental leadership.

In addition to managing core accounting functions, this position will oversee the payroll function in collaboration with HR and supervise a team of 2–3 Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable specialists.

Key ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, and financial reporting.Lead market and product analysis to support tariff forecasting and strategic decision-making.Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.Guide inventory accounting processes and support internal controls.Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.Collaborate with HR to manage payroll operations and ensure compliance.Support internal and external audits and ensure adherence to GAAP and company policies.Drive continuous improvement through process optimization and technology integration.Required Skills & ExpertiseFinancial reporting & statement preparationFinancial analysis & forecastingAccounting software proficiency (Apprise/Aptean preferred)Import documentation and compliancePower BI reporting and data visualizationPayroll accounting and coordination with HRInventory management and cost trackingGAAP compliance and audit readinessStrong leadership and team management skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience in distribution or manufacturing environmentsFamiliarity with international imports, particularly from Vietnam and TaiwanExperience LevelExpert Level – Minimum of 5–7 years in accounting roles with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $140000.00/yr.
