What You’ll Be DoingThe Accounting Manager will be responsible for overseeing and actively managing daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP standards, and supporting the financial reporting process. This role requires a strategic, analytical thinker who can effectively lead a team and collaborate with various departments. Key responsibilities include preparing and reviewing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with GAAP, as well as leading the monthly close process for both corporate and divisional entities. This position is based in Melbourne, FL and follows a hybrid work schedule, with 3 days on-site and 2 days remote each week.

Responsibilities Ensures timely and accurate closing of the general ledger, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysesOversees the preparation of regulatory filings and compliance requirementsManages and participates in monthly close process and adhere to deadlines within the reporting structure. Participation will include performing key account reconciliations, managing allowances and preparing and reviewing journal entriesProvides financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-makingMonitors and reports on key financial metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvementDevelops, implements, and maintains effective internal control policies and proceduresEnsures compliance with company policies, financial regulations, and reporting requirementsIdentifies and mitigates risks associated with financial operationsAuthors and supports key internal control policies and initiativesCoordinates and manages external audits, providing necessary documentation and supportCollaborates with various departments, including finance, operations, and executive management, to support organizational goals and initiativesProvides financial expertise and guidance to support business decisions and strategic planningSupports private equity stakeholders, providing accurate and timely financial information as neededCompletes assigned tasks in a safe, accurate, thorough, and alert mannerUpholds Company policies and proceduresWorks in a professional manner with managers, supervisors, coworkers, customers, and the publicSupervisory Responsibility:
