Description Key Responsibilities: Manage multiple client accounting engagements, including financial statement preparation, month-end close, and general ledger oversight Supervise and review the work of staff and senior accountants, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong relationships Oversee preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for clients Ensure timely and accurate reporting in compliance with GAAP and applicable regulations Collaborate with tax and audit teams to support integrated client service delivery Assist with onboarding new clients and developing efficient accounting workflows Identify opportunities to improve processes and implement best practices Stay current on accounting standards, industry trends, and regulatory changes Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (Master’s preferred) CPA license strongly preferred 5–7+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role Public accounting firm experience required Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, CCH) and Microsoft Excel Excellent communication, leadership, and client service skills Strong organizational and time management abilities Requirements Month End Close, General Ledger, Financial Statement Audits, Account Reconciliation, Journal Entries Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
