Job Title: Accounting Manager

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to assist with the preparation of financial and statistical statements and reports. The role involves analyzing financial information to identify and resolve discrepancies in a timely fashion, with a strong emphasis on job costing accounting within the construction industry. You will interpret and apply accounting policies, rules, and regulations to ensure compliance with applicable standards.

ResponsibilitiesCompile and prepare routine reports, general ledger postings, and summaries.Perform monthly close duties, including posting journal entries, accruals, reclasses, high volume account reconciliations, and variance analysis.Supervise all cash applications and reconciliations, including bank reconciliations and intercompany transactions.Assist with inventory counts and evaluation, if required.Maintain fixed assets and assets financing schedules.Provide guidance and orientation to accounts receivable and accounts payable teams as needed.Support external audits and reviews.Perform other tasks and duties as assigned.Essential SkillsAssociate degree in accounting with at least 10 years of relevant work experience.Solid knowledge of IFRS and/or USGAAP reporting requirements, especially IFRS 15 or ASC 606.At least 5 years of experience in the construction industry with experience in elaborating Work in Progress reports and Percentage of Completion methodology.Advanced spreadsheet skills.Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.Strong problem-solving skills and work ethics.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Advanced analytical, organization, and interpersonal skills.Attention to detail and accuracy.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $57.00 - $62.00/hr.
