Are you a hands-on accounting professional with a passion for process improvement, operational excellence, and team leadership? Our client, a dynamic and growing company in the gaming manufacturing / technology sector, is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join their team. This is a permanent opportunity for a seasoned accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including A/P, A/R, payroll, and general ledger activities.
+ Lead the month-end and year-end close process; ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements.
+ Draft and review technical accounting memos; ensure compliance with US GAAP.
+ Manage internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures for regulatory and operational compliance.
+ Supervise and mentor the accounting team; provide guidance and support to junior staff.
+ Coordinate and manage external audits, liaising with auditors and preparing required documentation.
+ Perform cash flow management and monitor banking activities.
+ Handle payroll processing and related inquiries, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
+ Conduct financial analysis, identify trends, and present insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
+ Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying inefficiencies and proposing process enhancements.
+ Work with multiple departments and systems; ensure cross-functional collaboration and financial accuracy.
+ Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
Must-Have Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (preferred), Finance, or related field. Equivalent work experience will be considered.
+ 4–6 years of hands-on accounting experience or equivalent education/experience mix.
+ Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices; US GAAP expertise is a must.
+ Experience with ERP and financial reporting systems.
+ Advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, macros).
+ Experience in payroll, sales tax, foreign currency, and business tax handling.
+ Prior involvement in financial audits and technical memo preparation.
+ Comfortable working independently with limited supervision.
+ Detail-oriented with strong analytical, organizational, and multitasking skills.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
+ Strong team leadership and mentoring abilities.
