Key job responsibilities
- Lead the month-end financial close process with precision and strategic insight
- Conduct comprehensive reviews of financial metrics, identifying and investigating significant variations
- Collaborate cross-functionally with tax, inventory, legal, and compliance teams to ensure comprehensive financial oversight
- Develop and implement process improvements that enhance organizational efficiency and financial reporting
- Analyze new business offerings and contracts to ensure robust revenue recognition and compliance

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
- Knowledge of GAAP research tools and the FASB codification
- 5+ years of multiple finance and accounting roles experience
- 6+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
- 6+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in high-volume manufacturing environments
- Experience working cross functionally across several teams
- Experience managing multiple projects and meeting aggressive deadlines
- Experience in oral and written communication
- Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities
- CPA and/or Big 4 firm experience
- Mastery of accounting operations and best practices
- Ability to demonstrate sound judgment even in ambiguous situations
- Aptitude for information technology

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
