As an Accounting Intern you will learn about Life Time's end to end accounting close process for the business you support. You will support key accounting functions to ensure accuracy and compliance, including data entry, maintaining financial records, preparing journal entries, analyzing account activity, and reconciling account variances. You will use your skills as an Accounting Intern to ensure accurate financial reporting to help business partners to make informed decisions. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with any relevant SOX processes related to your role.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
Helps improve administration proceduresObserves multiple office positions and trains in a variety of tasksAttends company meetings and functions as neededAssists in other miscellaneous tasks as neededPerforms key monthly/quarterly tasksReconciles accounts, researches and corrects discrepanciesAssists with internal monthly reporting and external quarterly reportingSupports ongoing initiatives and ad hoc requestsMinimum Required Qualifications

Pursuing bachelor’s degree in accountingMust be enrolled in an accredited university/college programCurrently maintaining a GPA of 2.0 or higherYears of Experience:
