Description We have partnered with a burgeoning private equity-backed services firm that is currently seeking an energetic and ambitious Assistant Controller with 8+ years of experience in finance and accounting. This role will be reporting directly to the Controller and will be instrumental in supporting their company's continued growth and expansion. They are working on a hybrid office schedule, 3 days in office and this role compensates $140 - 160K + bonus. Responsible for maintaining the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. 3. Prepare, review, and analyze Profit & Loss statements on a monthly basis. 4. Carry out financial consolidations across various business units. 5. Review and manage company contracts, providing accounting insights where necessary. 6. Interface with external auditors for the annual audit process. 7. Foster clear communication and strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. 8. Play an integral part in financial analysis and forecasting exercises. Requirements Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field. • Minimum 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, with exposure to private equity preferred. • Management and team building experience • Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). • Proficiency in General Ledger management and consolidation practices. • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
