Job Title: Accounting Clerk

Job Description

We are seeking an Accounting Clerk with strong accounting and administrative capabilities to support our daily business operations and financial tasks. You will work closely with office leadership to ensure a smooth administrative and business flow, managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) to ensure accurate processing. You will use NetSuite as your primary accounting software and take charge of bookkeeping responsibilities, occasionally assisting with payroll and other general office duties.

Responsibilities

Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) with precision and efficiency.Utilize NetSuite as the primary accounting software for all financial tasks.Handle bookkeeping responsibilities to maintain accurate financial records.Assist with payroll processes as needed.Support general office duties, including data entry and filing.Prepare invoices and purchase orders.Use Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis.Assist the front desk and answer phone calls as necessary.

Essential Skills

Minimum 3 years of experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Bookkeeping.Proficiency in using NetSuite accounting software.Strong data entry skills.Experience with payroll, invoicing, and purchase orders.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with Microsoft Office, including email management.Ability to assist with general office duties and filing.Experience as a data clerk.Capability to assist the front desk and handle phone calls efficiently.

Work Environment

The work environment is collaborative, with a team culture where everyone works together. The office has between 10-20 people, including the office and shop staff. Dress code is casual to business casual. The position is onsite, with working hours from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday. You will work directly with the president, office admin, front desk, and current office manager. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Conroe, TX 77301.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $27.00/hr.
