Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Clerk to join our team in Kailua, Hawaii. This role involves managing accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate financial records, and supporting various accounting tasks. Responsibilities: • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions for multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. • Reconcile credit card and bank statements while reviewing expense reports for compliance. • Post daily financial transactions and verify supporting documents for accuracy and completeness. • Manage invoice processing, handling approximately 70 invoices per week. • Review backup documentation to ensure proper job closings and adherence to company standards. • Perform administrative tasks related to finance as needed. • Support special projects as assigned by management, contributing to overall team objectives. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and Excel, along with familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks. • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred, or a minimum of three years of hands-on experience in the field. • Ability to work independently from a home office with reliable internet connectivity. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing financial data. • Knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. • Willingness to learn and adapt to new software systems and tools. • Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and stakeholders.
