Description *Staff Accountant* Our client is seeking an experienced accounting professional to oversee technical and general accounting, financial analysis, and compliance. This role requires excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work both independently and on a team. This position focuses in AP, AR, balance sheet and other reconciliations, depreciation, amortization, revenue reconciliation, month end close procedures, audit, sales tax and more. (( Hybrid; Boston, MA ; Up to $80,000)) Requirements Key Responsibilities: Manage month-end close, including journal entries and reconciliations for fixed assets, revenue, and cash in compliance with ASC 606/IFRS 15. Oversee accounts payable/receivable, cash processes, AR invoicing, sales tax registration, and intercompany transactions. Support audits, prepare 1099 filings, and provide training to team members. Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations and follow up on overdue accounts. Conduct financial analysis and generate reports to support decision making. Identify and implement process improvements and assist with special projects.
