Description We are looking for a dedicated Accounting Clerk to join our team in Las Vegas, Nevada. This role involves supporting accounting operations while assisting with payroll, benefits administration, and compliance-related HR tasks. Responsibilities: • Possess a working knowledge of a General Ledger Chart of Accounts and Journal Entries • Post bank transactions such as miscellaneous deposits and vehicle auto payments • Fill out new Supplier credit applications and maintain supplier master files. • Gather data for Controller to determine credit worthiness for new Customer Credit Applications. • Reconcile bank statements • Proficient in downloading bank and payroll journal entries to Excel • Entering payroll journal entries into accounting system • Verify timecards and process payroll using ADP Workforce Now • Onboard new hires into ADP Workforce Now • Coordinate annual benefit enrollment with 3rd party benefit broker. • Ensure employee records are properly kept and updated. • Plan and host company events (BBQ's, Christmas party etc.) • Support the Controller in various other accounting functions and reporting activities. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, payroll and benefits and HR. • Proficiency in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, as well as General Ledger accounting. • Strong knowledge of QuickBooks and/or Microsoft Great Plains Accounting software. • Experience with ADP Workforce Now for HR & payroll administration. • Excellent data entry skills with strong attention to detail. • Familiarity with invoice processing and reconciliations. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. • Strong organizational and time management skills.
