Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in West Palm Beach, Florida. In this role, you will be responsible for managing key financial processes, ensuring accuracy, and contributing to the smooth operation of our accounting department. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and exceptional organizational skills. Responsibilities: Maintain accurate and up-to-date Accounts Payable ledgers by entering and verifying invoice data. Process vendor payments in accordance with internal controls and established procedures. Prepare monthly accruals and prepayments to support timely and accurate financial reporting. Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and ensure all supporting documentation is complete. Perform daily bank reconciliations to verify accuracy of financial transactions and resolve discrepancies promptly. Generate ad hoc financial reports to support management decision-making and operational needs. Communicate professionally with high-net-worth individuals to address inquiries and provide financial support as needed. Collaborate with accounting team members to ensure efficient workflows and timely completion of month-end close tasks. Requirements • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in an accounting role. • Demonstrated ability to manage accounts up to trial balance, including posting prepayments and accruals. • Proficiency in using Sage X3 is highly preferred. • Strong ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and perform under pressure. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across various levels of the organization. • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other relevant accounting tools. • Experience with balance sheet and monthly account reconciliations. • Familiarity with Accounts Payable and invoice processing workflows.
