Description We are looking for an Accounting Clerk with a keen eye for detail to join our team in Saint Louis, Missouri. In this role, you will handle essential financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations. This position requires strong organizational skills, proficiency in accounting software, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: • Manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure accurate and timely financial transactions. • Reconcile bank accounts and maintain accurate records of operating accounts. • Collaborate with supervisors and paralegals to support accounting needs in a fast-paced legal environment. • Utilize QuickBooks Enterprise Desktop to perform various accounting functions efficiently. • Prepare and process invoices, ensuring compliance with organizational standards. • Enter and update financial data with precision to maintain accurate records. • Handle client billing and resolve discrepancies in a meticulous manner. • Participate in additional tasks and projects as assigned to meet organizational goals. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or a related field. • Proficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise Desktop is required. • Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. • Familiarity with accounting principles and legal billing processes. • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. • Comfortable working in a 100% in-office environment. • Experience in a law firm or similar fast-paced setting is a plus.
