Accounting Associate Supervisor
**Position:** Accounting Associate Supervisor **Job Description:** Supervisory position within Global Business Services, tasked with leading the operation unit for Component Business. Responsibilities include overseeing the BPM Group to drive Growth Initiatives and Performance Catalyst activities such as innovation, reporting, and strategic realignment. The role also emphasizes gaining deeper insights into global businesses, building strong relationships, fostering synergies with suppliers and processes where appropriate, and supporting strategic realignment efforts **What You'll Be Doing:** + Research GAAP issues escalated from staff, provide direction on technical accounting matters. Escalate to upper management as necessary. + Perform due diligence related to mergers/acquisitions and any consolidations processes from an accounting perspective, coordinate information exchange and conversion monitoring and process testing. + Perform specific merger related accounting tasks in order to ensure purchase transactions/entities are properly accounted for. + Participate in special projects related to new processes, issues or changes in structure. May help to facilitate Internal Cross-divisional reporting. + Coordinates and supervises the daily activities of business or technical support or production team. + Sets priorities for indirect reports to ensure task completion; coordinates work activities with other supervisors. + Decisions are guided by policies, procedures and business plan; receives guidance and oversight from manager. + Solves problems based on practice and precedent. **What We Are Looking For:** + Typically requires a 2 year Associate Degree and a minimum of 5 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience. + Strong GAAP understanding and knowledge + Experience managing indirect reports and outside resources + Advanced reporting and excel skills including pivot tables, look ups, and formulas + Strong data analysis skills + Basic Microsoft Office skills + Experience working in Oracle is a plus + Experience in the Electronic Component industry is a plus **Work Arrangement:** Hybrid: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday required office days for Panorama Office site; Monday, Friday-work from home. **What’s In It For You :** At Arrow, we recognize that financial rewards and great benefits are important aspects of an ideal job.
